Every child has unique strengths, needs, and goals. Our ABA therapy services are individualized to help children build meaningful skills across the environments where everyday life happens.

Navigating the waves of growth together.

Early Intervention ABA

Early intervention ABA therapy supports young children as they develop important foundational skills during the early years of life. At Guiding Stars ABA, services are individualized around your child’s strengths, needs, and developmental goals.

Through play, everyday routines, and meaningful interactions, we help children build skills they can use at home and throughout their community.

Early intervention may focus on:

  • Social interaction and engagement

  • Play and learning skills

  • Daily living and independence

  • Following routines and transitions

  • Reducing barriers that interfere with learning

In-Home ABA Therapy

In-home ABA therapy allows children to learn and practice meaningful skills in the environment where many everyday routines naturally occur. Working within the home also gives our team opportunities to individualize treatment around your child’s daily experiences and your family’s priorities.

Our therapists work collaboratively with families to help children build skills that can be used throughout their day and become part of everyday routines.

In-home ABA therapy may focus on:

  • Functional communication

  • Daily living and self-care skills

  • Following household routines

  • Independence and choice-making

  • Social and family interactions

  • Supporting behaviors that may interfere with daily life

Community-Based ABA Therapy

Community-based ABA therapy helps children practice and generalize skills in the places where everyday life happens. Sessions may take place in community settings based on your child’s individualized treatment goals and clinical needs.

By practicing skills in natural environments, children have opportunities to build greater independence, confidence, and participation in activities with their families and communities.

Community-based ABA therapy may focus on:

  • Communication in community settings

  • Social interaction and participation

  • Participating in community activities and completing everyday tasks

School-Based ABA Consultation

School-based ABA consultation helps support a child’s success in educational environments by collaborating with families, educators, and other members of the child’s support team.

When clinically appropriate and permitted by the school, our BCBAs can provide consultation and recommendations to help promote consistency across settings and support skills that are important for learning, participation, and independence.

School-based ABA consultation may include:

  • Collaboration with teachers and school staff

  • Classroom observations and recommendations

  • Support for communication and social skills

  • Collaboration with other providers when appropriate

Parent & Caregiver Training

Parents and caregivers are an important part of helping children use their skills beyond therapy sessions. Our parent and caregiver training provides practical strategies that families can use during everyday routines and activities.

Training is individualized to your child and family and focuses on helping caregivers understand treatment goals, respond consistently, encourage independence, and support meaningful progress across environments.

Not Sure Which Service Your Child Needs?

Every child and family is different. ABA therapy at Guiding Stars ABA begins with understanding your child’s individual strengths, needs, daily routines, and goals.

Following the initial assessment, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops individualized treatment recommendations based on your child’s needs and your family’s priorities. Services may take place across home, school, and community settings when clinically appropriate.

As your child grows and develops new skills, treatment goals and recommendations can be adjusted to continue supporting meaningful progress and greater independence.

You don’t have to know which ABA service your child needs before getting started. We’ll help guide you through the process.
